Filip Podmol, the younger brother of 2011 FIM World Champion Libor, began his sports career in Motocross racing, becoming Junior Vice World Champion in 2013. With this massive success he decided to concentrate on Freestyle Motocross and quit racing. Using his insane riding skills from MX, he was soon getting invitations to Whip contests at mayor FMX events and competitions like NIGHT of the JUMPs, FMX Gladiator Games or Masters of Dirt.

Over the years Filip invested a lot in practice putting more and more most difficult tricks on his trick book. With Ruler Flip, Hartattack Flip, Shaolin Flip, Switchblade Flip or Clicker to Indy Flip he has dialed some hard Flip combos. His massive 360 is one of the world’s best. And 2019 Filip Podmol became the first Czech FMX rider ever to manage a double backflip.

With only 26 years of age, Filip’s career have seen quite a lot of victories at mayor events. He won several whip contests at the NIGHT of the JUMPs, reached 1st places at Freestyle Zurich (2019), RocknRide (2019) or MotoX step up at Adelaide 500 in Australia (2020) and had more podiums with a 2nd place at the FMX Gladiator Games (2019) or 3rd places at the FIM World Championship NIGHT of the JUMPs Grand Prix in China, Sound of Gravity Poland or the Freestyle of Nations in 2019.

Recently Filip landed more double backflips at his own Podmol brothers series in Czech Republic, making him one of the riders to watch out for in the international FMX scene.

Filip Podmol has signed a Global Management deal with Berlinièros Sports to raise his international rider profile. Berlinièros Sports will working with Filip to bring him to contests and series around the world. First achievement of Oliver Franke, CEO of the sports agency, was to get Filip on the prestigious X-Knights in Costa Rica upcoming weekend, where the Czech FMX rider will compete against World’s FMX elite like Luc Ackermann, Josh Sheehan, Taka Higashino, Maikel Melero and David Rinaldo.

Also in the field of sponsorships, Berlinièros Sports takes care and tries to set up a team of partners around him, who want to support him long term to become one of the best FMX athletes in the world.
