One half of Poland’s premier bike-riding family duo, Szymon Godziek is one of MTB slopestyle’s most creative and stylish riders. And with his MTB freeride skills he is at the top of the game. The Polish rider, who names multi-talented legend Travis Pastrana as his childhood idol, has already accumulated an epic list of achievements in his career. Just to name the 2nd place at the Red Bull Rampage in Virgin/USA 2022 and 3rd place at the Red Bull Roof Ride in Katowice/Poland 2021 as examples.

In recent years, Szymon Godziek has been quietly making a name for himself, earning respect through consistent, solid results and a positive, can-do attitude. With wins on his home turf at competitions like the Wombat Dirt Jumping Cup and Sfera Sportu Dirt Jumping Cup, Szymon Godziek has already made waves in Poland. But 2017, he took the international stage by storm, securing a string of podium finishes, including third place at the Crankworx Slopestyle World Tour.

Between international competitions, training, and tearing up his purpose-built track at home with brother Dawid, Godziek’s growing talent is gaining him increased recognition worldwide.

Meanwhile, when he’s not competing or training, Szymon Godziek can often be found in front of a camera, helping to bring freeriding to a much wider audience. After all, he’s just a guy who loves to ride his bike.
