Scott Murray

Scott Murray is the second person in FMX history to land the double backflip to dirt. He started as a demo rider from Michigan's remote Upper Peninsula and found himself in the spotlight of the worldwide FMX scene due to the trick. Scott got an X Games Best Trick invitation in 2007 about a week before the competition, based on video footage of him throwing the double flip to a soft landing. Scott Murray landed the trick three times to dirt: at a demo in Genoa, Italy (Nov. 2007), the Moto X World Championships in San Diego (April 2008) - where he won the gold helmet -- and the Masters of Dirt in Vienna, Austria (Feb. 2009). In 2010 Scott Murray worked on other tricks like Tsunamis, Cliffhangers, Nac Flips, Superflips or No-Hand Flips and landed the first ever double backflip at the NIGHT of the JUMPs series (Ostrava/ Czech Republic).
